Even before COVID-19 hit, colleges and universities across the country were seeing increases in students reporting depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and other mental health challenges. In mid-2020, about 1 in 4 young adults of college age reporting seriously considering suicide, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In this webinar, hear how colleges are working to address the increased demand for services on their campuses, from expanding community partnerships and on-demand programs to working to ensure that services reach those who are most at risk, are delivered in an equitable way and effective in helping students complete their education.
