Date & Time

Selected Sessions:

Description
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a cascade of further hardships on underserved pediatric populations, including increased homelessness, food insecurity, mental health challenges and inadequate access to care. This has only further highlighted long-recognized and unmet challenges: limited access to primary and outpatient care, excess hospitalizations, exposure to environmental toxins, more limited health literacy and inadequate communication or trust with providers. We will talk to leaders who are addressing these issues with innovative programs designed to ensure that unmet childhood health needs don’t lead to poor outcomes and long-term health issues that linger into adulthood.
